Independent studies, research seminars, and internships count toward the 16 hours required for the minor but do not fulfill the course requirement of the Advanced Laboratory and Application section.

The minor in neuroscience requires 22 hours of coursework in the neuroscience program. Students must complete all courses in the Basic Foundations Section (10 credit hours) and at least two courses from the Electives section (6 credit hours).  The remaining 6 hours of course work can be chosen from the Electives, Laboratory Courses, or Application Sections.
